Far from the city hides a beautiful place that if you’re lucky is filled with blooming strawberries ripe for the picking. Taglucop Strawberry Hills in Bukidnon is a spot where travelers come to rejuvenate from the bustling life of the city.

The breeze is cold, the air is fresh, and the scenery is lush with beautiful greenery. It is a great place for a quick weekend getaway. It offers few activities such as strawberry picking which we found was seasonal, ATV and glamping. It offers sceneries such as their farm areas for lettuce, mushrooms and other plants, a place to chill and discuss life with friends over their strawberry wine and good food, and a pool to refresh yourself.

If you want an overnight stay, the place can accommodate couples and group of people. They have glamping tents that have their own jacuzzi and have a pool nearby. The scenery oversees the beautiful and lush forestry of Bukidnon.

As for us, we only went there for a quick stop but had the opportunity to do some quick tour.

Review
For those availing of the day tour, the entire area can be toured within an hour and the rest of the time you would enjoy it talking over at their beautiful restaurant, an overhanging deck. The ambiance is really relaxing, and the food is delicious as well.

We’ve had the opportunity to try their chocolate-strawberry truffles and it is bitter and sweet at the same time. Great mix of flavors as I enjoy dark chocolates and fruits eaten together. We also tried their turon with strawberry and it is delectable and enough for four people as a sampler but not a full meal.

I urge you to try their pickled mushrooms. I don’t like mushrooms that much but it was really delicious that I had to order a jar of it to bring home to Davao. This is especially nice to pair with their sausage platter! They served three different sausages. We had pizza as well but it was nothing special. A bit disappointed that they did not have strawberry wine at the time. The grazing platter was just ordinary as well. I would suggest ordering more food to get a great experience.

Personally, I don’t think their glamping is a bang for buck so I would suggest booking somewhere else for overnight stay. Place is nothing special. A day tour and conversations over good food is recommended if you just want to unwind and relax for a day.

For those bringing loved one that have walking disability, there are areas that can get muddy and slippery especially on rainy days so be extra cautious on this.
Overall, I would say it is a great place to relax and talk with your friends or loved ones if you want some quick getaway from the city. I think the lodging is a bit on the pricier side. If you want alternative glamping experiences with a lower price point, you might consider the booming farm resorts in South Cotabato area if you want a strawberry farm experience. You may want to check out other lodging places in Buda if you still want to visit Bukidnon area. To be fair it wouldn’t be called glamping if it would not be luxurious.
Overall, it is just a great stop over. I had a fun experience at Taglucop Strawberry Hills. I would definitely recommend you grab a jar of their pickled mushrooms.
